Jimmy Moore played 2 seasons in the Majors appearing for the Chicago White Sox (1930) and the Philadelphia A's (1931-31. Moore appeared in both the 1930 and 31 World Series as a member of the Philadelphia A's. This jersey Pre-Dates Moore's time in the bigs and hails from his time playing with the Kansas City Blues of the American Association. Moore manned the leftfield position for the 1928 Blues. The jersey and pants are both tagged as manufactured by Spalding. The number 25 appears on the back of the jersey and the left sleeve is adorned with the Blues team crest. Both the reverse number and team crest show wear as some of the fabric has been lost. The player number 25 as well as size 44 and year 28 are stitched in the tail of the jersey as well as in the button flap of the pants. This is an extremely difficult to find jersey!!! In fact as far as we know this is the earliest Kansas City Blues Gamer to ever come to auction or even be seen for that matter !!!! Despite some small condition issues this jersey and pant uniform set is truly stunning!!!! Perhaps one of the rarest offerings from one of the premier minor league teams of the 1920's !!!! LOA from jersey expert Dave Miedema accompanies this jersey and pants
