Roger Maris enjoyed a 12 year career in the majors. Along the way Maris took part in 4 All-Star games as well as 7 World Series. Maris also captured 2 American League MVP Awards. Maris is perhaps best remembered for breaking Babe Ruth's single season Homerun record by slugging an astounding 61 round trippers during the 1961 season. Maris signed this banquet card following the 1960 season for which he was named MVP. Great dated autograph from one of baseball's great slugger!!! JSA letter accompanies this lot.
