This rare 1961 Kansas City A's Game Worn Road Hat was worn by former A's pitchers Bob Shaw and Bud Daley. Daley wore the hat up until his trade to the New York Yankees and Shaw took over this fine looking cap after he was acquired from the White Sox about a week later. Daley's 28 was converted to a 26 to accommodate Shaw and the number change shows clearly on the brim of this hat. Possessing fantastic eye appeal this seldom seen 1 year example will surely be a prized piece in some advanced A's or tough style collectors treasure chest!!!
