George Brett made headlines with the infamous Pine Tar Game and soon to be Hall of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry pitched his final game as a member of the Kansas City club. 26 members of that 1983 squad placed there signatures on this off white baseball. Manager Dick Howser fittingly inhabits the sweet spot while Hal McRae, George Brett, Frank White, Willie Wilson, Dan Quisenberry, Gaylord Perry, Bud Black, Rocky Colavito, and others round out the remaining panels.
