A good defensive first baseman as well as an above average hitter Wally Joyner enjoyed a 16 year big league career playing with the Angels, Royals, Padres, and Braves. Joyner was named to the All-Star team in 1986 and was a member of the 1998 Padres N.L. Championship team. Joyner rapped out 2,060 hits to go with 204 Homers and a lifetime Batting average of .289. Joyner brandished this bat while a member of the Kansas City Royals. The bat shows outstanding use and has a upper handle crack that has been secured. Several ball marks can be seen across the barrel and Joyner has added his autograph above his name plate. Great gamer from this fan favorite!!! PSA letter accompanies this lot.
