Jim Sundberg enjoyed a 16 year career in the bigs catching for the Texas Rangers (1974-83 & 1988-89), Milwaukee Brewers (1984), Kansas City Royals (1985-86), and Chicago Cubs (1987-88). Sundberg was one of the games premier defensive catchers. Over his career he was awarded 6 Gold Gloves (1976-81),was named to 2 All-Star teams, and was a member of the 1985 Kansas City Royals World Series Champion team. Sundberg swung this bat while he was with the Texas Rangers. The bat in uncracked and shows good use. The knob is decorated with Sundberg's number 10. Fantastic early career example from one of the games best defensive backstops!!! PSA letter accompanies this lot.
