In 1980 the Kansas City Royals finally figured out how to get past the New York Yankees and faced off against the Philadelphia Phillies in the organizations first World Series. The young franchise was competitive losing the series 4-2 with all but one game being decided by 2 runs or less. One of the tougher modern era balls to find this one is complete sporting 27 signatures that are bright and bold on a World Series ball. Signatures average grade is 8+ and include George Brett, Darrel Porter, Amos Otis, Hal McRae, Frank White, Dan Quisenberry and Willie WIlson. PSA letter accompanies this lot.
