Don Bollweg played 5 seasons in the majors manning the 1st base position for the St. Louis Cardinals (1950-51), New York Yankees (1953-54), and Kansas City A's (1955). A member of the 1953 World Series Champion New York Yankees Bollweg appeared in 70 regular season games for the champs hitting 6 homers with 24 Rbi's and a .297 average. This 1st base mans mitt shows lots of use and the manufactures tag is missing. Great vintage glove!!! PSA letter accompanies this lot
