U.L. Washington played 11 years in the bigs stepping into the lights for the Kansas City Royals (1977-84), Montreal Expos (1985), and Pittsburgh Pirates (1986-87). Washington was a solid shortstop and collected 703 hits, 27 Homers, and 255 RBI's while manning the position. A key part to the perennial Royals playoff teams of the late 70's and early 80's, Washington played in 1 Division series (1981), 2 ALCS (1980,84), and 1 World Series (1980). This equipment bag was used by Washington during the late 1970's and early 1980's. The bag shows heavy use and both ends are adorned with Washington's player number.
