Bo Jackson was one of sports most iconic figures. Excelling in both Football and Baseball as a professional Bo captured the nations attention with his eye popping abilities. After winning the Heisman trophy in 1985 Jackson spurned football and was drafted by the Kansas City Royals to play baseball. Jackson moved quickly through the Royals minor league system and debut with the big league club in 1986. As Jackson continued to progress as a baseball player he decided to also try his hand at football again. Jackson joined the L.A. Raiders in 1987 concluding playing 116 games for the Kansas City Royals. Bo quickly showed no signs of rust on the football field and established himself as an intriguing 2-Sport star. By 1989 the nation was fully engulfed in Bo mania and Jackson didn't disappoint as he was named to the 1989 All-Star team and then MVP based on a dazzling defensive play and a mammoth home run. Following the baseball season Bo joined the Raiders and rushed for 950 yards and 4 TD's. Bo will forever be viewed as the most versatile athletes to ever play professional sports. This bat hails from the 1986-87 seasons and was originally produced for Bo's use. At some point Bo's teammate Frank a White took over the bat as White's trademark number 20 rests on the knob. The bat shows light to moderate use however use by Jackson can not be confirmed. Nice dual player bat from these two legendary players!
