Jack Clark enjoyed an 18 year career taking the field for the San Francisco Giants (1975-84), St. Louis Cardinals (1985-87), New York Yankees (1988), San Diego Padres (1989-90), and Boston Red Sox (1991-92). Clark collected over 1800 hits as well as 340 HR along the way. He was named to the All-Star team 4 times (1978,79,85,and 87) and won 2 Silver Slugger Awards (1985,87). This bat dates to the 1985 season and shows great use. The bat has Clark's uniform number 22 written in vintage marker on the knob which has been written over by Hall of Fame teammate Ozzie Smith with his player number 1. This bat was most likely actually used by both players as it shows extensive use and is hammered with use. Fantastic gamer used by Cardinals slugger Jack Clark as well as Hall of Fame defensive legend Ozzie Smith. Very nice stick!
