Jeff Guiot played 2 seasons with the Kansas Jayhawks (82-83 & 83-84) playing in 42 games and earning 14 starts at the point guard position. Guiot averaged 3 points and 3 assist his freshman season for the Jayhawks. A back injury kept Guiot on the bench much of his sophomore campaign and with the emergence of fellow sophomore Cedric Hunter Guiot transferred to Pittsburgh State at the conclusion of the 1983-84 season. Guiot transfer to the D-2 level allowed him substantial playing time and he still turned in seasons that still rank highly in Pitt State career records including 4th highest career scoring average, 5th highest career assists avg, and highest career steals average. Following his playing career Guiot coached at several institutes the last and longest which was SouthWest Baptist at the D-2 level where he captured 3 conference championships. These Kansas shorts show nice wear and date to Ted Owens last year at Kansas and Larry Browns first. Tough to find uniform piece from this legendary basketball institution!!! Loa from jersey expert Dave Miedema accompanies this lot.
