Bert Campaneris played 19 seasons in the majors taking the field for the Kansas City/Oakland A's (1964-76), Texas Rangers (1977-79), California Angels (1979-81), and New York Yankees (1983). Campaneris played in 5 All-Star games and for 3 World Series Championship teams all with the A's organization. This bat was issued to Campy for use in the 1977 All-Star Game which puts this bat in Campy's hands while he was a member of the Texas Rangers. Campy manned the shortstop position for the 1970's A's juggernaut as well as providing a reliable bat. This bat is uncracked and the handle has been taped by Campaneris. Fantastic looking bat!!!
