Jerry Lumpe played 12 seasons in the Majors suiting up for the New York Yankees (1956-59), Kansas City A's (1959-63), and Detroit Tigers (1964-67). Lumpe collected a respectable 1,314 Hits, 47 Home Runs, and 454 RBI's during his career. Lumpe played on 2 World Series Teams (Yankees 1957-58) and was named to the 1964 A.L. All-Star Game. This rare 1971 suitcase was used by Lumpe while he was a coach in Oakland. This unique brightly colored suitcase is in great condition and displays wonderfully. Great relic that exemplifies the Charlie O'Finley era of A's baseball. 1st example that has been offered at auction!!!
