John Mayberry played 14 years in the majors suiting up for the Astros (1968-71), Royals (1972-77), Blue Jays (1978-82), and Yankees (1982). Mayberry gathered 1,379 hits, 255 homers, and 879 RBI. Mayberry was twice elected to play in the All-Star game (1973,74). One of the Kansas City Royals premier sluggers Mayberry sported this Adirondack bat during the heart of his big league career. The bat shows great use and bears vintage but worn autographs from both Mayberry and fellow slugger Amos Otis. Fantastic piece of Royals history!!! PSA letter accompanies this lot.
