The Red Coaters have been an essential part of the Kansas City Chiefs organization since the team moved to Kansas City in 1963. In fact part of the Chiefs coming to Kansas City can be attributed to the Red Coaters who on the request of Mayor Bartle sold season tickets and drummed up overall community support to make the move enticing to Lamar Hunt. The Red Coaters as well as the fan base they helped recruit also became known as the Wolf Pack a group of rabid fans who sat in the the temporary bleacher seats in Municipal Stadium. This jacket and Fidora ensemble could be seen throughout the stadium in the late 1960's. Great fan related piece from a franchise that continues to be one of the toughest venues for opposing teams to play in!!! Rare to find in this pristine condition an absolute gem!!!
