The GO-GO SOX! Great autographed baseball from the 1959 A.L. Champion Chicago White Sox! The first White Sox team to make the World Series since the 1919 Black Sox. The 1959 team lost to the Dodgers in the World Series, 4 games to 2. This White Sox team went 94-60 during the regular season. 29 signatures in all. Future Hall of Famers Al Lopez, Early Wynn, Nellie Fox, and Luis Aparicio signed the ball. Other notable players include Sherm Lollar (1959 Gold Glove catcher), Jim Landis (5-time Gold Glove outfielder), Norm Cash (4-time All-Star), Ted Kluszewski (4-time All-Star), Billy Pierce (4-time All-Star), Gerry Staley (1959 A.L. Saves co-leader), and Turk Lown (1959 A.L. Saves co-leader). This white Cronin baseball's signatures rate 8-9. Fantastic high grade example!!! PSA letter accompanies this lot.
