An astounding 31 members of the 1959 Boston Red Sox have signed this slightly toned Harridge baseball. The 1959 season saw Pumpsie Green break the color barrier for the Red Sox as a position player and also saw Earl Wilson take the mound as the first African American pitcher for the Sox. Ted Williams and Frank Malzone grace the sweet spot while Red Sox legends Pete Runnels, Rudy York, Jackie Jenson, Gene Stephens, Pumpsie Green, Earl Wilson, and others cover the remainder of the ball. Signatures rate 6-8 creating a fantastic and very complete 50's Red Sox keepsake!!! PSA letter accompanies this lot.
