The 1959 season saw Detroit Tiger teammates Harvey Kuenn and Al Kaline finish 1st and 2nd in the A.L. batting race. This bat was swung by Al Kaline during that season and then signed by 20 + members of that team in black ink. All the signatures are very vibrant and include Al Kaline, Harvey Kuenn, Jim Bunning, Gus Zernial, Jimmy Dykes, Tommy Henrich, Charlie Maxwell, and others. The bat itself is un-cracked and shows excellent use. It should be noted that a portion of the original finish was removed from this bat prior to being signed as to add to the display of the signatures. Absolutely stunning team signed gamer!!! PSA letter for both bat and autographs accompany this lot.
