The last of the legal spitball hurlers Burleigh Grimes was elected into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1964. Grimes was a standout pitcher during his career and played for 4 National League Pennant winners as well as the 1931 World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals. Grimes signature rests at the top of these 2 Hall of Fame plaques and both have been deemed authentic and encapsulated by PSA. Nice lot from this Hall of Famer!
