Darrell Porter played 17 seasons in the Majors donning the tools of ignorance for the Milwaukee Brewers (1971-76), Kansas City Royals (1977-80), St. Louis Cardinals (1981-85), and Texas Rangers (1986-87). Porter was a 3x All-Star (1978-80) and was named the 1982 World Series MVP. This hat was worn by Porter in 1977-80 while he was with the Kansas City Royals. The hat shows heavy wear and the brim has been signed by Porter. Very attractive cap from this hard nosed catcher! Loa from jersey expert Dave Miedema accompanies this lot.
