Dating from 1942-45 based on the stamping, Reach Official American League (Harridge) baseball has been signed beautifully in black fountain pen on the side panel by the king of the diamond, Babe Ruth. Ruth has inscribed "To Bobby Davis, From Babe Ruth" in astoundingly bold and flourishing ink, taking up the entire panel. In overall fine condition with scattered toning. Make no mistake - single-signed Ruth baseballs in any form are a must-have for any baseball collector, and one with a signature as bold as this is extremely desirable! Accompanied by full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
