Willie Stargell suited up 21 seasons for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1962-82) leading the franchise to 2 World Series titles (1971 & 1979). A 7x All-Star as well as 1979 N.L. MVP Stargell collected 2,232 hits to go with 475 home runs during his career. Beloved by Pirate and baseball fans alike "Pops" was elected to the National baseball Hall of Fame in 1988. This bat was ordered by Stargell in 1982 which was his final season in the majors. The bat shows moderate use and has a cracked handle. Exclusive use by Stargell can not be determined due to the lack of player number on the knob and the timing of the bat order only allows for use in 5 games as a player.
