The 1980 season is a memorable one for Brett fans as he flirted with the elusive .400 batting average mark much of the season before finally finishing the season at an outstanding.390 !!!! This jersey shows moderate use represented by expected staining and appropriate markings from the result of use in a games. Brett's name adorns the back of the jersey as well as his iconic number 5 while the front sports the Royals in royal blue cursive. The Wilson size appropriate 42 tag is in the collar of the V-neck knit and the 80 year tag is stitched in the front left tail. The left sleeve features the "KC" shield patch.
