Thurman Munson played 11 seasons in the majors with the New York Yankees (1969-79). Munson was a 6x All-Star and 3x Gold Glove winner. Munson was a member of 3 New York Yankee World Series teams and was named the A.L. MVP following the 1976 season. This bat dates to the 1977-79 seasons and shows nice use. The bat is missing a portion of the handle as well as half of the knob making it impossible to say that all use can be attributed to Munson. Munson gamers are never easy to come by and despite the condition issue that this bat contains in remains a nice relic from this popular catcher! PSA letter accompanies this lot.
