One of the keys to the Kansas City Royals future success was learning the ropes in Omaha with the clubs Triple A affiliate in 1973. That player was of course Hall of Famer George Brett who batted a respectable .284 during the 1973 season for Omaha. This ball is signed by Brett and 20 of his teammates which included Ron Stone, Buck Martinez, Jose Martinez, Jim Lyttle, and others. Brett of course would go on to win 3 batting titles in the big leagues and collect over 3,000 hits during his Hall of Fame career. Great early signature from the Royals face of the franchise!!
