Ted Williams was arguably the best hitter that the game has ever seen. Williams wielded this gamer during the 1960 season his final as a major league player. In addition to this bat being used by perhaps the best pure hitter of all-time it has also been signed beautifully in black ink by the entire 1960 Boston Red Sox team. The knob of the bat sports Williams number 9 and although the barrel has been sanded removing the finish to allow for a more desirable surface for the signatures the bat still has many markings of a Williams gamer. At some point the bat was cracked and a small mounting hole exist on the handle. Although the sanding of the bat has removed all game use on the barrel except for the crack use by Williams can still be assumed due to the handle and knob of the bat. Despite these before mentioned issues still a great piece of lumber that certainly was in Williams hands during his final season!!! Key signatures include Ted Williams, Rudy York, Billy Herman, Miller Huggins, Frank Malzone, and others. The bat displays absolutely wonderful and the signatures are beautiful!!! Fantastic autographed gamer!!! You will not see another one of these!!! Full PSA Letter for both bat and autograph.
