1957 Brooklyn Dodgers autographed American League baseball. This is the last year the Dodgers were in Brooklyn!! 19 autographs in all. There is shellacking on the ball. Ball includes the signatures of Future Hall of Famers Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese, and Walt Alston. Other notable players include Johnny Podres (1955 World Series MVP; 1957 N.L. ERA leader), Roger Craig, Sal Maglie, Don Newcombe (1956 N.L. MVP; 1949 N.L. Rookie of the Year; 4-time All-Star), Charlie Neal (1959 Gold Glove second baseman; 2-time All-Star), Don Zimmer, Sandy Amoros, and Gino Cimoli. Ball is incorrectly marked as the 1958 Dodgers. The Dodgers finished in 3rd place in the National League, with an 84-70 record. This Harridge ball has had a light layer of shellack placed on it. The signatures themselves rate 6-8.
